About the Research Ambassadors at RU

The Research Ambassadors are a group of undergraduates who are passionate about and dedicated to promoting research among the student body at Roosevelt University. They represent The Office of Student Research (OSR) and hold workshops and other events throughout the semester that are meant to provide information on conducting research while also empowering students to get involved in their own research.  They are also mentors and are a point of contact for any student who wishes to receive guidance in formulating their own research question(s) and project(s).  We believe that inquiry, discovery, and creative scholarship are central to students’ academic and personal growth, as well as their intellectual development. We seek to cultivate a vibrant community of learners from across the university, as the student body’s engagement in knowledge creation is transformative for the university community as a whole.
